I have 24 bred heifers @ $1375, 40 heifers ready to breed @ $1075, and 40 yearling heifers @ $975.  All these heifers I raised out of my own cows here at the ranch.  They have all been line bred from the Kit Pharo bull Emancipate.  These heifers have Emancipate on both maternal and paternal side for several generations.  They are 100% grass efficient and perform on no supplements what so ever.  They have never had grain, mineral, vacinations, wormers, antibiotics-only grass.  They are broad, short to the ground, black and slick hided.

 These lines are producing good quality grass finished cattle for our direct marketing sales.  All are black angu, slick hided, and will do well on our type pastures and conditions.  Most will be three and four frame cattle, shorter and broader grass type animals.  I have calved literally hundreds and hundreds of Emancipate cows and heifers and have never pulled a single calf.  We calve all our heifers with our adult cows and we do not pamper anything.  We have had a closed herd since 2004 and all our young cattle are now line bred with Emancipate.

We are breeding for a trouble free, low maintenance cow, about three frame and no more than 1100lbs.  Many of our best producers are these slick hided, size three frame cows weighing about 950lbs.  Since Emancipate was a 2.5
frame size he fits the bill very well and puts this size on his daughters. We operate under a Beyond Organic protocol with no antibiotics, parasitic wormers or licers, chemical fertilizers, pesticides or implants.  These heifers are trained for rotational grazing and are very gentle.
